Description
Most ergonomic chairs ask you to sit still. The LiberNovo Omni SE is built on the opposite idea: a headrest, backrest, seat and armrests that keep moving with you, so support doesn't stop when you shift, lean or recline. It's the manual-adjust member of LiberNovo's Omni family — the same dynamic platform, tuned by hand rather than by motor — and it holds an iF Design Award 2026 and a Red Dot award.

The Bionic FlexFit backrest is built from eight flexible panels on sixteen pivot points. Slide the manual lumbar bar to where your back wants it and the panels form an S-shaped support profile that holds through every recline angle — no motors, nothing to charge.

Before you order
Will the Omni SE fit me?
It's rated for heights of roughly 153–186 cm and loads up to 136 kg under the BIFMA test standard (the European EN1335 rating is 110 kg). Two seat depths — 45 cm and 48 cm — let longer legs take the deeper seat.
What does 'dynamic' actually mean here?
Four contact points track your movement: the headrest angles with your head, the backrest follows your spine, the seat shifts with your posture and the armrests move with your arms — so support continues while you move, not only while you sit still.
How is the SE different from the Omni and Omni Pro?
All three share the FlexFit backrest and dynamic tracking. The SE is the manual edition — a hand-set lumbar bar, nothing to charge. The Omni adds a chip-controlled ErgoPulse motor with a motorised spinal stretch; the Omni Pro adds that plus an actively ventilated seat, Danish Gabriel Atlantic upholstery and a reinforced aluminium-alloy base.
Why does the recline start at 105° rather than a bolt-upright 90°?
The most upright lock is a slightly open 105°. Keeping a small opening between torso and thighs reduces pressure on the lower spine compared with sitting at a rigid right angle — you stay engaged without perching.
Does it need assembly?
No — the chair arrives fully assembled: unbox, adjust and sit. (The bundled StepSync footrest may arrive as its own parcel.)
Which seat depth should I choose?
45 cm suits average builds; 48 cm gives longer thighs fuller support. A good check: sit with two to three fingers of space between the front edge of the seat and the back of your knees.
